Product Details

From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1964. The movement is Omega’s hand winding calibre 613. These earlier movements are prized for their quality and this is no exception.  The case is a nice, comfortable size and in good condition, with some recent minor polishing on the original intentionally polished case back.  The dial which has some heavier than normal patina, which does show really nice in person and tells the watch’s story. The original signed crown also operates the semi quick set date, so you move the hands past midnight, back to 8pm and then past midnight again.

The hands and hour markers being gilt rather than steel does add a small splash of colour, without being flash.  The leather strap is custom and new from Aaron Bespoke in Montreal and compliments the dial well. The dial in particular is a Rare variant of the 132.0019 with the White dial contrasted with the Red Crosshair on its own, let alone including the Date as well.
