If there's a quintessential Rolex Submariner, then it is the 5513 with its simplified text on the dial over the previous 5512 model. A watch made famous on the wrist of Roger Moore in the James Bond film 'Live and Let Die' (where it performed more than a few tricks the real watch might struggle with).
It is simply a nice, comfortable tool watch with an unassuming dial, straight forward hour and bezel markers and a faithful, everyday adventure companion.
This particular watch has a beautifully lightly faded dial and bezel insert. The dial markers have a slight patina, creating that nice vintage warmth that makes a watch like this so desirable.
The bracelet is a bit rickety but is still very functional, however it will only fit up to a 7 inch wrist and there are no extra links (though this watch will look superb on a Nato strap).
The case finishing is not original. It has been refinished in the past making it fully bright which is not standard for this model. You can discuss with us as to the options for having it restored if you wish.
No box or papers but this will be covered under our 2 year warranty.
