The development of the complex Supernova case has been nothing short of a pursuit of perfection. It is a contemporary timepiece fashioned in a new Trip-Tick® case which has evolved Bremont’s classic three-piece case construction to achieve a crisp, exquisitely finished aesthetic with beautiful curves and angles. The resulting ergonomic design is sublime to the touch and beautifully plays with light through the contrasting brushed and polished effects found across the case construction and dial. Turning the watch over reveals an exhibition case back where the ENG375 calibre and decorated rotor can be viewed, protected by a rubber anti-shock movement mount.
Since Bremont's change of ownership in 2024 this series of watches and movements have been discontinued which means that these pieces are now a beautiful rarity in the watch world. The watch itself still carries that awesome Nick & Giles era Bremont design DNA, in much the same way that you can clearly see the notes of an original 'Mustang' from the 1960's in a modern Mustang .. the same can be seen on this watch with Bremont's familiar Trip-Tick case, DLC mid-barrel with the double-grooved edge, the familiar but evolved lug design and that gorgeous original propeller logo that enthusiasts love.
This watch has been recently fully serviced, comes as a complete kit with all the extra links for the bracelet and is a piece of horological history from a company that whilst being a touch over-ambitious, created a stunningly beautiful movement and a very unique timepiece.
Sporting a nice big double date, Arabic numerals and very legible hands in any light.
