- Urban design: The stepped, black oxidized hands of Metro 38 date are reminiscent of the Empire State Building's silhouette. The hour markers on the white silver-plated dial are to the point. Accents at the seconds and at 6 o'clock play with the signal effect of the color red.

- The sapphire crystal glass back reveals the elaborately decorated hand-wound DUW 4601 caliber made by NOMOS in Glashütte, Germany—with quick date adjustment and a power reserve of 52 hours. The elaborate sunburst finish extends peripherally from the exclusive NOMOS swing system, while the balance cock is skeletonized.
Refined case:
- The stainless steel case with a diameter of 38.5 millimeters and a height of 7.8 millimeters features softly rounded wire lugs with quick-change spring bars and a textured crown. The sapphire crystal is gradually domed on both sides. It features a water resistance of 5 atm.
