Tudor - Black Bay 58 GMT

It doesn't get much more iconic than the Black Bay '58. This watch is a direct descendant of the original Tudor Oyster Prince Submariner, the cheaper twin of the venerable Rolex Submariner. Both watches having been issued to military forces throughout history from the mid 1950's all the way up till the 1990's.

The Black Bay in particular gets its '58' moniker from the year of production of the Original Tudor Submariner, 1958. Though sporting a standard ETA movement, it possessed some features not found in the Rolex counterpart, the biggest difference being that the Tudor had 200 meters of water resistance whereas the Rolex was only 100 (this did change soon after of course).

And of course the only thing that could make this watch any better is that it also be a GMT. With a stunning 48 click bezel with delightful aluminium insert. If you haven't got the time, money or patience to play the game to get a Rolex GMT this is absolutely a great alternative.

This preowned watch is an good condition. Bracelet has all the links and currently adjusted for 7.5 inch wrist. The watch has some signs of wear.

Comes with box and paper (full set) from 2024.
