Choose manual winding if you enjoy simplicity, thin cases, and a closer daily connection with the watch.
Automatic
Put it on and go.
Choose automatic if you value convenience, wear the watch regularly, and prefer not to wind it each morning.
Do not choose by diameter alone
NOMOS watches often wear larger than their stated diameter suggests. The open dials and distinctive lugs can give a 35 or 36 millimetre watch more wrist presence than expected.
Diameter is only one measurement. Lug length, dial opening, thickness, strap choice, and wrist shape all influence the result.
Choose the way you want the watch to feel. Smaller can be elegant and deliberate. Larger can be relaxed and contemporary. Neither is automatically more correct.
